Synopsis
Our protagonist, eighteen-year-old Kevin - a well-meaning recluse who spends most of his days imprisoned in his mother's house; unless of course, it's time to go to school. However, conflicted, Kevin longs to run away from his domineering and abusive mother, Amai (mother in English) with the help of Maidei - a well-intentioned late teen girl, who at first seems like she's helping out of pity but we soon discover it goes way deeper than that. Maidei's rebellious and resolute in urging a conflicted Kevin to get out but Kevin has developed a dependency attachment disorder and can't bring himself to leave even if he wanted to. Having flashbacks of his trauma prompted the escape.
Unexpectedly, Amai - a wannabe model, greedy and ruthless, has her own twisted plans concerning Kevin and it is when their plans collide that Kevin's plans are foiled. To make things worse he's intoxicated and his tenuous grasp on reality begins to slip away as his very life hangs in the balance.
